Harry Warren (December 24, 1893 - September 22, 1981) was an American composer and lyricist. The first major American songwriter to write primarily for film, his songs were featured in over 300 movies, receiving eleven Best Song nominations and winning three Oscars. Harry Warren wrote in excess of 800 songs in a career spanning four decades.
